This is where we have stayed in the past and where Steve will be staying this year. Nice rooms, a great pool for the afternoons / evenings, a casino with low minimums and free drinks while gambling. Day drinking and drinking at the pool is encouraged while on property and you are allowed to BYOB. The place is nice and the casino is right across the parking lot. $5 minimums at craps, blackjack, pai gow, and roulette. They also have a poker room, penny slots, sports book, BINGO, dance club (kind of), buffet, restaurants, etc.

Pros

Nicer rooms, lobby, and amenities than Casablanca
Pool and hot tubs where you are allowed (and encouraged) to BYOB
Includes a 1 hour complimentary happy hour on Thursday (all you can eat and drink) for golfers who are a part of our group
3 dining options on property including a steak house, casual dining, grab and go, and a buffet.

New this year is the option to stay at the Casablanca resort. The rooms are not as nice as Eureka but still nice enough. Huge pool area with water features and a pool side bar (though you are not allowed to bring your own drinks to the pool area).  There are 3 restaurants on property including a nice steakhouse, a casual dining restaurant featuring burgers and breakfast options, and a cafeteria style restaurant. The casino is in the building and offers slots, roulette, black jack, craps, and a race & sports book.

Pros

Cheaper than Eureka
Pool is nicer than Eureka’s. However there are more families, more kids, and they mandate that you order drinks from the poolside bar (no BYOB).
3 dining options including the best steakhouse in Mesquite (Katherine’s), a cafe to grab breakfast or a burger, and a cafeteria.
